THE TRINITY ALPS CHAMBER PLAYERS

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music-Concerts in Marin will be presenting the Trinity Alps Chamber Players tonight at the Novato United Methodist Church at 8pm. Ian Scarfe returns to Novato with musicians from his Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival . This trio has performed in both the Swiss Alps and the Trinity Alps - donations from this concert will be toward the trio's upcoming trip to Switzerland in May, and the upcoming 2013 season of the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival in June in July.

The program will feature Beethoven's youthful and witty Gassenhaueer Trio, Francis Poulenc's, energetic and jazzy Clarinet Sonata, Shumann's Fantasy-Pieces, and a special treat from Italian composer Nino Rota, including the music from the Godfather movies.
