So You Want to Start a Business - Legal & Finance

This is the second of a three-part series that can be taken separately or in tandem. This 3-hour course is for small business start-up information on the topic of Legal and Finance. The workshop covers various legal structures, business insurance, licenses/permits, leases/contracts, and protecting your intellectual property. It also goes over the basics of financing your business, estimating start-up costs, break even analysis, the importance of cash flow and how to manage it, as well as basic financial statements.
