Tasting and Cooking with Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese

The artisan cheese movement brings Bay Area flavor to the world, with Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese in the vanguard. With a farm in West Marin that dates back to 1904, now certified organic, and a fourth generation involved in farming, this historic operation is now making history with its award-winning artisan cheese.  


Join Chef Jennifer Luttrell from the Farmstead crew to enjoy tasting cheese like their Original Blue, first produced in 2000, and learn to create a distinctive cheese platter with mostarda, figs, apples and pears, maple peppered walnuts and local honey.


She'll show guests how to make some favorite simple and cheese-friendly dishes.The menu:

Chef Jennifer also will offer tips and ideas on buying and storing cheese as well as making sweet and savory accompaniments. Tickets include tasting and dinner; wine will be available for purchase.
