Crews Respond To Gas Leak Near Novato Cemetery
Construction crews hit the gas line, causing the small leak, according to PG&E. (BREAKING)

NOVATO, CA – The Novato Fire Protection District responded to a natural gas leak Tuesday afternoon near a cemetery in Novato.
The ruptured 1-inch gas line was in the area of 650 Bugeia Lane, according to fire officials. That address is the location of the Valley Memorial Park cemetery and funeral home.
Construction crews hit the gas line, causing the small leak, according to PG&E spokeswoman Deanna Contreras.

No evacuations were necessary, but fire officials advised the public to avoid the area while firefighters and PG&E crews worked at the scene.
