Ghost Gun, Drugs Found On Suspect In Illegally Parked Car In Novato: Police

NOVATO, CA — An illegally parked car led Novato police to a loaded ghost gun and suspected methamphetamine and heroin early Monday morning, police said.

Around 3:15 a.m., an officer spotted a vehicle parked illegally at the intersection of Diablo Avenue and Center Road and contacted the person inside, according to police.

During the investigation, officers found a loaded unserialized firearm, commonly referred to as a ghost gun, along with suspected methamphetamine and suspected heroin, police said.

Siegfried Wohlfahrt, 29, of Floriston, was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail, police said.

Wohlfahrt was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, possessing a firearm as a person addicted to narcotics, possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and possessing an unserialized firearm, police said.

He was also booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
