Good Samaritans Aid in Rescue of Boaters Off Marin Shoreline
The victims were transported to the Black Point Boat Launch near Novato, Coast Guard officials say.

Two boaters in distress were rescued from the waters of San Pablo Bay after their vessel capsized off the Marin County shoreline late Thursday afternoon, according to the United States Coast Guard.
Just before 4:45 p.m. a group of good Samaritans boating in the area reported finding a debris field including life jackets, throw cushions and an ice chest full of bait.

While Coast Guard boats and aircraft were en route, the good Samaritans found the distressed boaters, recovered them from the water and communicated their location to incoming crews, according to the Coast Guard.
The victims were transported to the Black Point Boat Launch near Novato by a boat from Station Vallejo. They were in stable condition, according to Coast Guard officials.

The capsized vessel was successfully flipped back over and recovered, Coast Guard officials said. There were lifejackets onboard when it capsized, but the victims were not wearing them.
