Hazmat Incident Cleared At Apartment In Novato
The Marin County Hazardous Materials Team assisted fire and police officials.

NOVATO, CA – Novato police cleared the area of Novato Boulevard and Diablo Avenue following a hazmat incident Friday morning.
Police didn't give any information about what happened. They didn't close any streets and said there was no threat to public safety.
They had cleared the area by 1 p.m. Friday.

The Novato Police and Fire departments, along with the Marin County Hazardous Materials Team, responded to the case confined to an apartment in the area, authorities said. No streets were closed, and there was no threat to public safety, the department said.
Police thanked "the patience of the residents" as the investigation is underway.
