Heads Up, Novato: Gas Line Test To Begin This Afternoon

News from the Novato Police Department:

Please note: PG&E will conduct a hydrotest on a gas transmission line today at approximately 3 p.m. in the area of the intersection of Stone Drive and South Novato Boulevard.

The procedure will last for around six hours. You may notice some gas odor at times in the area, although since it is near a residential area, carbon filters are being used to eliminate as much of the odor as possible. This is an advisement only; no issues or concerns with regards to public health and safety are anticipated.
