Highway 37 To Be Closed Overnight Near Marin County
A full overnight closure of SR-37 in the North Bay is scheduled for this weekend.
NORTH BAY, CA — Caltrans announced a full overnight closure this weekend of State Highway 37 just east of state Highway 121 near Sears Point in Sonoma County. The closure is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 23 and last until 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24.
The closure is because Northwestern Pacific Railroad needs to do emergency repair work to the railroad crossing at the intersection of SR-37 and SR-121 just east of Sears Point, Caltrans District 4 Spokesman Vince Jacala said in a news release.
"Motorists are advised to watch for detours, allow additional travel time and take alternate routes if possible," Jacala said. "Local access is available for residents and emergency vehicles only."
