Police reminded residents that with the closure of Highway 37, traffic typically increases throughout Novato’s side streets and neighborhood roads. This is especially evident, police said, during commute hours and on westbound Atherton Avenue and westbound Olive Avenue.
The department said patrol officers will monitor these areas closely, but advised drivers to be aware of increased traffic and plan accordingly.
