Cemetery Tours Resume At Marin County Park Thanks To Historical Guild
Guided walks through the historic cemetery offer a chance to explore the lives of the Novato Township's founders and early residents.
NOVATO, CA — The Novato Historical Guild is inviting the public to step back in time with the resumption of its popular cemetery tours starting in April at Pioneer Park.
These guided tours offer an opportunity to explore Novato's rich heritage and connect with the stories of the Novato Township's past residents.
Tours will be held on select Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., beginning in April. The schedule is as follows: April 11, May 9, June 13, July 18, August 15, and September 19.

"This in-person event presents a unique opportunity to connect with our past and discover the rich heritage of Novato Township," said Sharon Azevedo, the tour leader and a Guild board member.
Participants should gather near the Pioneer Park playground at 1007 Simmons Ln.

Registration is required and can be completed by visiting novatohistory.org and clicking on the events calendar.
Important Notes for Attendees:
- The tour route includes some stairs and narrow pathways.
- A $10.00 donation, payable at the event, is appreciated.
- In the event of rain, the tour will be canceled.
