Spring Parade and Celebration, Downtown Novato, April 19th

Bring the Kiddies in their spring finest with their decorated hats, bikes, trikes; Come and celebrate with us in Downtown Novato!

Spring is in the air!  What better way to celebrate than joining in some fun in the first Spring Parade and Celebration with your family and friends in Downtown Novato?

Bring your little ones and their friends, put on colorful Spring finest, decorated hats, bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers, and meet in front of Las Guitarras Restaurant (1017 Reichert Avenue) at around 10:15am for this fun and festival event!

Hosted by Downtown Novato Business Association (DNBA), the parade, joined by Love2Dance,  will start at 11:00am at Las Guitarras, along one side of Grant Avenue, between Reichert and Redwood Avenue and then wind back.

Under the canopy in front of Bicycle Brustop, you will find Dennis Haggerty, Master of Ceremony and Novato Citizen of the Year and his bandmate, Robert Sundberg, playing music, Love2Dance will also perform.  Stop by Novato Theater, and check out the Novato Theater’s Kids Film Club while enjoying free popcorn.  Don’t forget to take some pictures by Personally Yours Photography at the Photo Booth!   Downtown merchants such as Super Fresh Food Art Gallery, Anne’s Secret Hangups, A Closet Affair are all participating in this fun event.  

Complimentary Parasols and bunny ears will be given away for participating youngsters to decorate; while Grant Avenue Florist will donate 200 carnations to participating adults.

Prizes will be given out for winners of each categories of the decoration/dress up contest at the end of the parade.

Come and join the fun, meet your neighbors and fellow Novatans.  Stay for lunch with your friends and family after the parade and shop and browse downtown stores afterwards.
