Dow made an unsafe turning movement to the right and lost control of the motorcycle. After that the bike went down on its right side, according to Sloat.
The motorcycle overturned and ejected Dow and his passenger, 43-year-old Julie Glassford of Antioch. The two riders and their bike came to rest in a small ditch at the intersection of the two roads, Sloat said.
