March For Our Lives Vigil Planned In Novato

Students in Marin County walked out of class March 14 to push for gun reform. They will rally again on Saturday.

NOVATO, CA – Various rallies and other events will be held around the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country this Saturday as thousands of people are expected to protest gun violence. In Marin County, a March For Our Lives Vigil has been announced for Novato.

A little more than a week ago, tens of thousands of students across the U.S. walked out of class as part of a nationwide effort to protest gun violence and push lawmakers to strengthen gun control laws. The walkout took place on the one-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.

The March For Our Lives Vigil in Novato is taking place at 11 a.m. at Novato City Hall, located at 901 Sherman Ave.
