The Marin County Board of Supervisors is expected to review the Housing Element later this summer, but the next opportunity to comment is a Marin County Planning Commission public hearing at 1 p.m. June 24 in Suite 328 of the Marin Civic Center’s Administration Building in San Rafael. A continuation of the discussion is set for July 8, at which time County staff proposes that the Planning Commission recommend adoption of the documents to the Board of Supervisors. The item is to be placed on the Board agenda later this summer.
The topic for both meetings will be the final supplement to the 2007 Countywide Plan Environmental Impact Report for the 2012 Draft Marin County Housing Element (Final SEIR), project merits of the 2012 Draft Marin County Housing Element, amendments to the Countywide Plan related to housing, Zoning Map amendments and Development Code amendments related to housing, definitions and development.
