Marin Donates Bicycles to San Rafael CA Fire Department

Novato-based Marin Bicycles has proudly donated four mountain bikes to the City of San Rafael’s Fire Department to implement a bicycle mounted Fire Medic program. The bicycles, Marin Bobcat Trail 9.5 sport hardtails, will be used by the fire department to help quickly respond to areas of the community, particularly open space, that are frequently used by mountain bikers and other recreational users.

The bicycles help ensure quick response by paramedics from San Rafael fire stations close to the popular China Camp State Park trails, open space as well as other events where access is challenging and response could be delayed.
