MarinMOCA welcomes the Summer National Juried Exhibition

This exhibition is free to the public and runs from May 30 to July 5 with an opening reception on Saturday, June 6 from 5pm to 7pm.

Summer is coming and MarinMOCA welcomes the season with the Summer National Juried Exhibition. The museum received 343 entries from 29 states. Of those entries, juror Nancy Meyer selected 48 artworks including photographs, paintings and sculpture. Juror Nancy Meyer is the Curatorial Assistant at Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art (LACMA) and co-curated recent LACMA exhibitions Kaz Oshiro: Chasing Ghosts and Variations: Conversations in and Around Abstract Painting.This exhibition is free to the public and runs from May 30 to July 5 with an opening reception on Saturday, June 6 from 5pm to 7pm.

Running concurrent with the Summer National Juried Exhibition in the Ron Collins Gallery is “Gary Marsh and Johanna Baruch”. In recognition of their artistic achievement, Gary and Johanna were awarded this exhibition for winning first place in MarinMOCA’s 2014 member shows.

Museum hours are Wednesday - Friday, 11 - 4 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday, 11 - 5 p.m.
