MCA and NBCA to pack 10,000 Meals for the Local Community

Local schools, Marin Christian Academy and North Bay Christian Academy to pack 10,000 meals to be distributed in Marin and Sonoma Counties

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On Tuesday, March 19, students, families, faculty and staff will gather on the campus of Marin Christian Academy to take part in the third annual Feed the Hungry Packing Event to prepare and pack 10,000 shelf-stable meals to be distributed to families in need in our community and those still affected by the recent fires.

MCA and NBCA have set a goal to pack 10,000 meals in one day. Working together with Helping Hands Fight Hunger, we will pack meals assembly-line style on our campus from 9:00 a.m. - noon. We will then work with local agencies, including the Novato Human Needs, SF-Marin Food Bank, Ritter Center, SF City Impact, New Life Church Santa Rosa and others to distribute the packed food to families in need.
