Doctor Who? Hospital Where?

Normally, we learn by experience. But when it comes to caretaking your loved one, you want to avoid ‘on the job training’ whenever you can. In the spirit of camaraderie  I’d like to do some of the work for you, especially when it concerns making choices about medical staff.

I am not in a position to suggest what medical doctor or facility you should use, but I do know that having enough information at your fingertips could make your selection process simpler.

Here is a quick resource guide to help you find highly accredited hospitals and doctors. These guidelines, hopefully, will save you time:

-Find the best Medicare hospital: Medicare.gov shows the hospitals in your area, but also gives you each hospitals patient survey results, readmission data, and any data you may need to compare multiple hospitals with each other and with the state average.

-Patient Reviews: Doctors countrywide.

-Geriatric Hospitals: Best in the country.

-Best hip and knee replacement hospitals in the country.
