Mobile Showers For Homeless Proposed In Novato

The public is invited to offer input on the pilot program during a community discussion​ Nov. 13 ​at the Hamilton Community Center.

NOVATO, CA – A pilot program that would provide mobile showers for the homeless has been proposed for Novato.

The Downtown Streets Team, which provides resources for the homeless and low-income men and women, proposed the mobile shower program from 5:30–9 a.m. during a 90-day pilot period at the HUD parcel, located off of State Access Road and south of Homeward Bound of Marin. The team would be responsible for all onsite operations, according to the city.

The public is invited to offer input on the program during a community discussion from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Hamilton Community Center, located at 503 Palm Drive.
