Momma Dog Reunites With Her Puppies at the Humane Society

The heart-melting moment took place at the Marin Humane Society. Watch the adorable video.

NOVATO, CA - Last weekend, two dogs were surrendered at the Marin Humane Society. When the pretty little female named Cora was examined, the staff determined that she had recently given birth.

The Humane Society contact the former owner and convinced them that the puppies were too young to be separated from their momma. The owner decided to surrender them, too.

The result, a heartwarming reunion between Cora and her puppies. Momma went from cowering in the corner to leaping around, tail wagging in appreciation. The puppies wasted no time in getting an overdue meal.

Since Cora is a character on Downton Abbey, the puppies have been named after other characters. The three boys are Carson, Moseley and Branson and the lone girl is Edith.

Momma and puppies will be available for adoption in a few weeks.
