National Night Out 2020 Coming Up Next Week In Novato
Police are planning a different format this year. Give a call if you want officers to swing by your neighborhood.

NOVATO, CA — National Night Out, a nationwide campaign that aims to bring together citizens and law enforcement and typically held on the first Tuesday in August, was shifted this year to Oct. 6 in many cities, including Novato, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
To keep the community tradition alive in 2020, the Novato Police Department is taking requests for officer drive-throughs of local neighborhoods that are hosting socially distanced, outdoor gatherings, block parties or barbecues.
Those interested can call the department at (415) 899-8252 to schedule a police visit/drive- through.
