New Mill Valley Credit Union Names Branch Manager

Redwood Credit Union also has two Marin County branches in Novato and San Rafael.

MILL VALLEY, CA – Redwood Credit Union (RCU) welcomed Welsey Purvis as manager of its new Mill Valley branch.

Purvis will oversee member service, staff management and daily branch operations, as well as local community and business development efforts for the branch, which opened Dec. 5. Purvis previously, held various positions at Bank of the West in Northern California, including financial services representative, financial services officer, branch sales manager, and most recently, vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Mill Valley location.

“Wesley’s financial knowledge and experience as well as his strong commitment to service and building relationships are a great fit for RCU,” said Andy Ramos, RCU’s senior vice president of member experience. “We’re thrilled to welcome him as manager of our newest branch in Marin.”

Located at 695 E. Blithedale Ave. in the Alto Plaza Shopping Center, RCU’s new Mill Valley branch is designed to better accommodate the credit union’s growing membership in Marin County. It features three 24-hour access ATMs; a technology bar for members to access online banking and information; branch staff to assist with accounts, loans and financial wellness; and a children’s activity area. The branch is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m on Saturdays.

RCU has two additional Marin County branches in Novato and San Rafael, and a total of 17 branches throughout the North Bay.
