Not In Our Town​ Novato To Host Virtual 'Inclusion' Event

NOVATO, CA — Not In Our Town Novato is hosting a virtual event next week about the importance of a positive, inclusive work environment.

The online event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Jan. 11 and will include a video called "Inclusion Starts with I," along with a followup conversation.

"The video demonstrates that bias can appear in both expected an unexpected ways — and that each of us has the power to make a difference," the community organization said in a news release.

Not In Our Town Novato aims to promote a safe, inclusive and equitable community in partnership with the city of Novato, the Novato Unified School District and North Marin Community Services. The organization's objective is to build sustainable and measurable methods that advance the mission of an equitable community.
