Novato To Celebrate City's 61st Birthday​ With Virtual Event

NOVATO, CA — The city of Novato will celebrate its 61st birthday with a virtual event Jan. 22.

Planned by Novato's Paint the Town Red Committee, this year's event is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and will be streamed live on YouTube and NCTV Channel 27.

The Novato Citizen of the Year will be honored during the event. The new Community Pandemic Assistance Award will also be presented to a Novato resident or business owner that has provided outstanding services to the Novato community during the pandemic. Honors will also be presented to the Novato Police Department and Novato Fire Protection District Employees of the Year. The Novato Chamber of Commerce's Large and Small Business of the Year will also be recognized at the event.
