Novato Man, 20, Killed In Southern California Crash Identified

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the Novato man who was killed in a freeway collision in Pasadena Friday as 20-year-old Jonathan Adkisson Jr.

Adkisson and Tristan Witte, 20, of San Rafael, died in a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate Highway 210 east of Sierra Madre Boulevard around 4:50 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

A white 2007 Nissan box truck collided with a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the CHP said. The collision pushed the Jeep into a 2004 Buick driven by Witte into the center divider. The Buick then was struck by the box
truck, forcing the Buick into a collision with the Chevrolet, according to the CHP.

Adkisson was a passenger in the Buick. Four other people suffered minor injuries in the collision, the CHP said.
