Novato Man Arrested Fourth Time For DUI
Officers found Phuoc Dang, 58, about 2:45 a.m. standing next to his car.

PETALUMA, CA -- A Novato man with three previous drunken driving arrests was arrested for a fourth time early Sunday morning in Petaluma, police said. Officers found Phuoc Dang, 58, about 2:45 a.m. standing next to his car and looking at its shredded front tire, at a gas station in the 5100 block of Old Redwood Highway, Petaluma police said.
He reportedly smelled of alcohol, was bleeding from his face and his car showed signs of recent damage, police said in a news release.
A preliminary breath test showed his alcohol level was twice the legal limit, at .08, police said. He refused a chemical test, forcing officers to obtain a search warrant for his blood sample.
