Novato Police Arrest 2 Men For Attempted Burglary
John Raiff, 50, of Vallejo and John Roberts, 41, of Suisun City were arrested for possession of burglary tools and attempted burglary.

NOVATO, CA – Novato police arrested two Solano County men Tuesday suspected of possessing property taken during auto burglaries.
Officers saw two men around 11:50 p.m. who appeared to be looking in parked vehicles and casing the Ferris Drive and Leese Lane neighborhood.
The men – identified as John Raiff, 50, of Vallejo, and John Roberts, 41, of Suisun City – said they were lost, low on gas and looking for a gas station, police said.

Officers were suspicious and found shaved keys that are used to enter locked vehicles nearby, and personal items and documents that appeared stolen in Roberts' vehicle, according to police. Raiff also was arrested for
possession of psilocybin mushrooms.
Both men were arrested for possession of burglary tools and attempted burglary and booked in the Marin County Jail.
