She's also accused of violating Novato's Social Host Ordinance.

By Bay City News Service:

A teen girl was arrested late Friday night in Novato on suspicion of battery against a police officer.

A resident of the 700 block of Olive Avenue called police around 11 p.m. to report a loud party at a home nearby, according to police. The resident told police that there were juveniles at the party and they might be drinking alcohol.

Officers got no response when they first knocked at the door of the home where the party was going on, according to police. A few minutes later a teen girl talked to officers through the door but refused to open it, police said.

Officers say they heard people leaving the home through a rear entrance, and then apparently found that the teen girl with whom they spoke with was also allegedly trying to leave, according to police.

Officers caught the girl, who initially cooperated with them. She then, however, became hostile and combative, punching and kicking one officer, according to police.

Officers arrested the teen suspect for battery on a peace officer and also for violating Novato’s Social Host Ordinance, police said.

Officers booked her into Marin County Juvenile Hall and got in touch with her mother, who was out of town, according to police. No other juveniles were arrested in the incident, police said.
