Novato Police Cite Woman for House Party with Underage Drinking

NOVATO, CA – An 18-year-old woman was recently cited for allegedly hosting a Novato house party where minors were drinking alcohol, police said.

After receiving a complaint Saturday night, Novato police discovered minors drinking alcohol at a home in the 600 block of Louise Avenue. The host of the party, Kiana Ecandon Capanna, 18, was issued a citation.

“The Novato Police Department is appreciative of our residents and community members who report these types of violations,” police said in a statement. “The Novato Police Department strictly enforces alcohol violations to ensure the safety of minors and the community.”
