Novato Police Investigate Suspected DUI Crash
Multiple witnesses reported seeing the driver of the truck driving recklessly on Highway 101 prior to the crash, police said.
NOVATO, CA — Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that sent a suspected drunken driver to the hospital Tuesday in Novato.
The crash happened at the intersection of Rowland Boulevard and Vintage Way. After exiting Highway 101, the driver of a Ford F-150 collided with another vehicle and a traffic light pole, according to Novato police. Multiple witnesses reported seeing the driver of the truck driving recklessly on the highway prior to the crash, police said.
The driver of the truck, who is under suspicion of DUI, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The other driver had minor injuries, police said.
