Novato Police Make 'Social Host Ordinance' Arrests on NYE
Police announced the arrests from two separate incidents.

Two people were arrested during separate house parties in Novato on New Year’s Eve when minors were found drinking alcohol, police said.
Officers responded to a complaint of a party in the 2000 block of Vineyard Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Patrick Pollack, 20, of Novato, was the host of a large party and officers issued him a citation for violating the city’s social host ordinance, according to police.
While responding to the party on Vineyard Road, officers also responded to another complaint of a party in the 1900 block of Benton Lane, police said.

A 17-year-old boy found with alcohol in the front of the home was cited, according to police.
A 16-year-old girl of Novato was the party’s host and police cited her for violating the city’s social host ordinance, police said.
