One Dead in Novato Hit-and-Run, Local Man ID'd: Police
Fatal incident occurred Oct. 25 at Rowland and Redwood boulevards.

The Novato Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run collision that left a senior citizen dead.
Novato Police received a call at 1:17 a.m. on Tues., Oct. 25th, regarding a person down and unresponsive in the roadway in the area of Rowland Blvd and Redwood Blvd. Arriving officers then located a man on the roadway who had significant trauma; he was determined to be deceased. The victim was later identified as 64-year-old Novato resident John Krabbe.
The involved vehicle had fled the area prior to the arrival of officers. The Novato Police Department is asking the public for assistance with any information on the identity of the driver and/or of the involved vehicle.

The Novato Police Department is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
