Novato Police Seek Tips In Jewelry Store Burglary
Do you recognize this man? He is a "person of interest" in a burglary in Novato.

NOVATO, CA – Police released a composite sketch Wednesday of a man who is a "person of interest" in a burglary in Novato.
The burglary happened between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at Vilma's Jewelry at 1129 Grant Ave. The burglar broke in the store through the back door and stole an undetermined amount of watches and jewelry, Novato police Lt. Sophia Winter told Patch.
Police developed a sketch of a person of interest in the case, a man who was "acting suspicious" when he entered the store earlier in the day, Winter said.

The person of interest was described as Hispanic, about 200 pounds and roughly 5 feet 7 inches tall. He had black hair, a mustache, light brown eyes and a clear light-skinned complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap and carrying hand-made knit caps for sale.
