Novato Resident Reappointed To Sonoma-Marin Fair Board

NOVATO, CA – A Novato resident was reappointed to the 4th District Agricultural Association, Sonoma-Marin Fair Board of Directors. Lois Moore, 71, has served on the board since 2014.

In addition to her service on the board, Moore has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco since 2003. She was a consultant for the United Negro College Fund, Gates Millennium Scholars Program from 2004 to 2011.

Moore was a teacher for the Novato Unified School District from 1973 to 2002. She earned a doctorate in international and multicultural education from the University of San Francisco and a master's degree in education from Sonoma State University.
