Novato Teen Cited For House Party With Underage Drinking
The Novato Police Department found several intoxicated minors early Saturday morning at the Novato home.
NOVATO, CA – A Novato teenager was cited Saturday after hosting a house party where other minors were provided alcohol, police said.
Officers from the Novato Police Department responded around 3:45 a.m. to a Novato house after receiving a report of an intoxicated female juvenile. Police found several female juveniles who were determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the home on Pinheiro Circle. Officers also determined the minors had consumed alcohol at the residence, police said.
The 17-year-old girl who hosted the party was cited for violating the city's social host ordinance.

"The Novato Police Department is appreciative of our residents and community members who report these types of violations," police said in a statement. "The Novato Police Department strictly enforces alcohol violations to ensure the safety of minors and the community."
