Our Lady of Loretto School's 13th Annual Poetry Day in the Hall

Three students from each grade were selected to recite a poem in front of the entire school for OLL's Annual Poetry Day.

OLL students participated in one of the most successful and thoughtful Poetry Days to date! Three students from each grade recited a poem of their choice, some of which were original pieces, and then a representative from each class recited a poem.

The judging panel consisted of current faculty and staff members, members from our OLL community, and members of the church. Each student was rewarded a ribbon for 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place. We also had three overall winners:

1st place: Grace Perryman (6th grade)

2nd place: Kia Dove (4th grade)

3rd place: Riley Walsh (1st grade)

Our student, faculty, and parent audience were quiet listeners and compassionate in their praise for everyone’s poem.

We want to thank Mrs. Elizabeth Claverie, our 7th grade teacher, for putting on such a memorable 2016 Poetry Day!
