'Plethora' Of Child Porn Images Seized From Marin Man, 21: Police
A tip led to the arrest of a Marin County man accused of possessing thousands of videos and images of child pornography, authorities said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A 21-year-old Marin County man has been arrested after police found he was in possession of "thousands of images and videos" of child pornography, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The investigation began after the sheriff's office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, saying a suspect had been sending and/or receiving the images over the internet. The sheriff's office determined the images were originating from a home in Point Reyes.
Detectives identified a suspect, Dailyn Luis Gutierrez, and served a search warrant at his Point Reyes home on Wednesday, where he was arrested.

Authorities found "obscene matter of minors" while inspecting Gutierrez's personal electronic devices, according to the sheriff's office. The evidence will undergo more forensic examination. There's no evidence the children in the images are from Marin County, authorities said.
Gutierrez was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of possession of obscene material, with bail set at $10,000.
