Police Seek Suspect In Bank Robbery At Novato Safeway
Police are seeking the public's help identifying a suspect who robbed a U.S. Bank inside a Safeway store Tuesday in Novato.
NOVATO, CA – Police are seeking the public's help identifying a suspect who robbed a U.S. bank inside a Safeway store Tuesday in Novato.
The robber gave a note demanding money to a teller around 5:25 p.m., according to police. After receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot from the store at 5720 Nave Drive. No weapon was displayed or used during the robbery, police said.
The suspect is between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black and gray baseball cap with the words "Vans since 1966," blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
