Power Outage Affecting Hundreds of Novato Customers

NOVATO, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric is reporting on its outage map that 360 customers in Novato have been without power since Thursday morning.

The outage, which has affected homes in the Bahia area for hours, started at 7:40 a.m. Thursday and PG&E estimates the power will be restored by about 4 p.m. According to the utility company's website, the cause of the outage is unknown and is being assessed.

Customers can visit PG&E's online outage page and click on the highlighted area of Novato to register to receive updates on the status of the outage.
