Ridgway Space Station to perform Free Concert at Novato's City Green

Novato's reggae/rock band, Ridgway Space Station will be the final performance for Novato ALIVE's concerts of the summer series 2015.

Please join Novato ALIVE, a project of Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, on Saturday, September 19th from 5-7pm for our final FREE concerts of the summer at City Green, 901 Sherman Avenue in Novato.

We are thrilled to welcome a local Novato band to our summer concert stage for this last show! Ridgway Space Station’s band members: Forrest Bousquette, vocals; Jack Buzian, guitar, Jordan Kulp, guitar; Erik Trignani, bass, and Keelan Scarth, drums, are all products of Novato and San Marin High Schools and the Marin School of the Arts.

The band released its debut EP,The Extra Mile, last spring, showcasing their original songs. The team was back in the studio this summer recording its first full-length album and has recently released a new single entitled Fire Inside. Staying with the very optimistic vibe the band emits, Fire Inside, has an upbeat tempo, a breezy summer groove and inspirational lyrics.

Fire Inside is all about perseverance and pushing through, even through the real tough times,” says Forrest Bousquette, lyricist and lead singer. “I try to be as visual as possible as I can when I write. Fire burns bright and fierce. The message is to never give up what you’re passionate about. It’s actually a very personal song to me.”

This up and coming group has already debuted their sound at numerous venues around the Bay Area including 924 Gilman, the Berkeley club made famous by Green Day; Hopmonk in Novato, the Sleeping Lady in Fairfax, the Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma and Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. They’ve also performed at the Marin Center’s Bioneers Conference, the Novato Art and Wine Festival, The Marin County Fair and Novato’s July Fourth Parade.

Finnegan’s Marin will again be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on site. You must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol. ID’s will be checked and alcoholic beverages are not permitted outside of designated areas.
