Sandbags Available for Novato Residents

NOVATO, CA — Novato residents and business owners concerned about flooding during the storms this season can get free sandbags from the city of Novato.

The sandbags, which are self-serve, can be picked up and filled at the following three locations.

• City of Novato Corporation Yard – 550 Davidson St.
• Hamilton Theater – 507 S Palm Dr.
• Dogbone Meadow Dog Park – Novato Boulevard at Copper Hill Way

Another storm is expected to bring strong, gusty winds and widespread rain to the region through Tuesday night, according to National Weather Service reports. Residents getting sandbags should bring their own shovels and gloves.
