Shopping With Stolen Credit Cards In Novato: Suspect Sought

PETALUMA, CA – A female suspect is wanted in connection with credit cards stolen in a Petaluma home break-in that later were used at area stores, according to authorities.

The burglary, in which only credit cards were taken from a residence on the 200 block of First Street, occurred between Sunday, Jan. 28 and Monday, Jan. 29, the Petaluma Police Department said today.

On Monday, the victim's credit cards were used to buy more than $200 of merchandise from a CVS in Novato, along with other purchases made at additional local businesses, police said.

The agency released surveillance photos of the suspect in hopes the public can aid with an identification, and also added that she was described as having long, pink fingernails and a large, black purse.
