Smoke, Traffic Advisory Issued For Stinson Beach, Bolinas Areas

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The Marin County Sheriff's Office has issued a smoke and traffic advisory due to a controlled burn taking place on Thursday.

According to officials, there may be smoke in the air for approximately seven hours.

Travelers in the Stinson Beach and Bolinas area may see smoke in the area of experience slowing traffic due to the controlled burn, which has been permitted by the Marin County Fire Department.

Officials urge passersby not to call 911 if they see the fire in this area.
