SPEECH & LANGUAGE - GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN SCHOOL ADULT EDUCATION SERIES

Good Shepherd Lutheran School presents, Shana Walters, M.S. CCC-SLP, in their Speech & Language Adult Education workshop. The second in a series of adult education workshops hosted by Good Shepherd, Ms. Walters will discuss communication development in young children and help parents determine potential red flags in their child’s speech and where to find resources when needed. Ms. Walters will also discuss the importance of parents partnering with teachers in order to ensure the success of speech intervention and their child’s overall speech and language development.

“We are very excited to have Shana Walters present to our community,” says Karen Kane, K-5 Director of School. “Shana Walters is a sound resource for parents who would like further education on speech and language development, and she can help them determine the next steps if they feel intervention may be needed. This is a valuable forum for adults and parents of children at all ages.”
