State Route 37 Reopens After Six-Day Closure
Westbound SR-37 lanes reopened Tuesday morning, following a six-day closure due to last week's heavy rain, high tides and floods.

NOVATO, CA – All lanes of State Route 37 in Novato were open Tuesday morning, following a six-day closure due to last week's heavy rain, high tides and floods.
The section of roadway between the US-101 transition ramps and Atherton Avenue was initially closed in both directions Wednesday, Jan. 11 due to the recent storms, according to an advisory issued by the Marin Area Division of the California Highway Patrol.
One eastbound SR-37 lane reopened Friday, followed by the remaining eastbound lanes on Saturday. Westbound lanes were finally reopened Tuesday morning, according to an advisory issued at 6:04 a.m. from the CHP Marin.
