Suspect Arrested Near High School After Foot Chase In Marin County Was Not A Student: Police
Police said the suspect fled to the campus and was caught on school grounds.
NOVATO, CA — Novato Police Department officers arrested a boy near the Novato High School campus Wednesday afternoon, following an investigation unrelated to the school.
Police said they found the suspect, who is not a student at Novato High, on the school grounds shortly after 3:30 p.m. The boy attempted to flee from officers but was caught by officers near the school's baseball fields.

Police said there are no outstanding suspects, and the incident posed no danger to students or staff.
