SUV Crashes Into Concrete Pillar, Killing 2 People In Marin County: Police
A silver Toyota Highlander veered off the road and collided with a concrete support on Highway 101, police said.
NOVATO, CA — Two people died after they crashed an SUV into a concrete pillar early Sunday morning in Novato, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP received a call around 12:22 a.m. regarding a silver Toyota Highlander that had veered off the roadway on northbound Highway 101 at the Highway 37 connector.
The vehicle crashed into a concrete pillar, police said.

Both passengers, identified only as a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police temporarily closed the road in the area while emergency crews worked, but the roadway was fully reopened to traffic around 4 a.m.
