Teen Arrested For Alleged Threat To Shoot Up North Bay High School
BREAKING: The threat, deemed not credible by police, to Casa Grande H.S. was to coincide with anniversary of 1999 Columbine massacre.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – Petaluma police said today a juvenile male was arrested Thursday for making a threat on social media to conduct a shooting at Casa Grande High School on the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine High School massacre.
The threat, which was determined not credible, came to light Wednesday when police received 15 different reports about the threat from parents, students and citizens, police detective Paul Gilman said.
Officers worked with school officials through the night to determine the source of the threat, and they visited the homes of two teens suspected of sending the threatening message, Gilman said.

Police identified the suspect around 8 a.m. and arrested the teen at his home. No firearms were found during an initial contact with the teen or subsequent search of his residence, and the boy's parents cooperated with
the investigation, Gilman said.
Gilman said information on social media is seldom accurate or complete and spreads faster that it does through traditional media channels.
