Teen Repeatedly Harassed At Novato Bus Stop, Police Say

NOVATO, CA – A man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of annoying and harassing a 14-year-old girl at a bus stop in Novato, authorities said.
The teen said a man in a blue Dodge Ram truck with a black lumber rack stopped at a bus stop on Grant Avenue Tuesday, asked her if she wanted a ride to school and offered to buy her coffee, according to the Novato Police Department.
The girl said she had seen the same man in the truck over the past four school days, police said. Novato police officers were in the area of the bus stop Wednesday and contacted the man when he stopped to talk to the girl again.

The driver, Cirilo Perez-Lopez, 28, of Petaluma, was identified by the girl, and he was arrested on suspicion of annoying a child, police said. He was booked into Marin County Jail.
